1. 1Look for a box. Get yourself a beautiful, large cardboard box. You might be able to get one from your local store if you ask nicely. It is essential that it is in good shape and that it is large enough to accommodate your cat. 2Take the flaps off the package and set them aside. 2. However, if you have one, you should consider using one. 2Close the neckline of your sweater with a sewing machine. To begin, turn your sweater inside out and press it against your body. After that, stitch along the neckline. (This closes the opening at the top of the sweater, allowing you to fill it later.) Finally, turn your sweater the correct way out
3. 3sew a line from armpit to armpit from the inside of the sweater. Visualize a line that runs from the armpit of your sweater to the opposite armpit of your sweater. You will stitch both sides of your sweater together across this line, using either your heavy-duty needle and yarn or your regular needle and yarn (or a sewing machine). 4Fill your “tube” with stuffing until it is completely filled from one wrist-opening to the other
4. This is the end result of your work. Using your filling, stuff one wrist of the sweater after you have sewed the line from armpit to armpit. Repeat this process for the other wrist. Continue to stuff the wrist opening with stuffing until you have a soft tube that extends all the way from the wrist to the wrist aperture. Touch the insides of the wrists together to make a gentle circle. This will serve as the “edge” of your cat bed
5. 5sew the sleeves together to complete the cat bed. Once again, the “tube” of filling you’ve constructed will serve to make the soft, fluffy edge of your cat bed, as you’ve seen before. In order for this to function, the sleeves must be sewn together to make a loop. To begin, tuck one of the sleeves inside the other. Next, using your heavy-duty needle and yarn, stitch a circle around the object you’ve created. 6 Attach the bottom of the frame. The “body” of your sweater will now serve as the foundation for your cat bed. (where your cat will lay). Line up the “body” with the plush loop you’ve produced, with the body fabric on the bottom. Repeat the process with the other side. Excess fabric is defined as fabric that goes beyond your plush loop’s perimeter. Using scissors, cut away any excess cloth that is left. Then, using your heavy-duty needle and yarn, join the bottom of the loop to the top of the loop.
